Industrious Realty, Industrious Development Co., and Industrious Capital were founded in 2014 by Ali Fardshisheh. In just three years, our team has assembled a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the DC metropolitan area. Industrious now proudly owns and operates properties in some of the District’s most up-and-coming neighborhoods, including Union Market, Ivy City, and H Street Corridor.
Our tenant base is as unique and diverse as the portfolio of properties we service. Our tenancy ranges from US and DC Government agencies, to Breakthru Beverage, Meatcrafters and
Guest Services Inc. We view our tenants as our partners: our success depends on one another and we grow together. That is what differentiates us from other landlords and the reason we provide best in class management services.
The Team
Ali Fardshisheh
Managing Principal
Ali is the Founder/CEO and President of Industrious Realty, Industrious Development Co., and Industrious Capital LLC. He is a licensed attorney and commercial broker in both Maryland and Washington DC, and an early-stage investor in numerous companies. He has been directly involved in over 100 real estate transactions comprised of some 3,000,000 square feet. Ali also has over 15 years of experience in real estate, development, and legal matters.

Fred Farshey
Strategic Advisor
Fred was Co-Founding Principal and CEO of Stanley Martin Commercial before joining Industrious. He has a PhD in Engineering from Yale University and 35 years of experience in ground up development and added value/repositioning of existing commercial real estate opportunities. Fred has developed over 2,100,000 SF of office and industrial properties and been involved in all facets of the business including acquisition, financing, entitlement, development, and asset management.

Frank Hall
Facilities Manager
Frank amassed over 35 years of experience working for the Prince George’s County Government in various construction trades, including facilities management. He joined Industrious in 2016 after working with Ali and Fred at Stanley Martin Commercial for 10 years.
Lori Anderson
Accountant
Lori has over 20 years of experience in Commercial Property Management and Accounting. She joined Stanley Martin Commercial as an accountant in 2009 and transitioned into the same role for Industrious at its inception.
